Custom Dental Prosthesis: Restore Your Smile

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF TREATMENT WITH PALATE PROSTHESES?

With these prostheses, we only replace the teeth our patients have lost, as well as the bone tissue, soft tissue and lip support that are lost along with the teeth. In this way, sagging and wrinkles that occur due to loss of support around the mouth and face area are reduced and disappear.

HOW DO PALATE PROSTHESES LOOK IN THE MOUTH?

While we apply total dentures to the lower jaw, which we can provide retention with the vacuum effect by creating negative pressure, we support the retention and significantly increase the comfort of the prosthesis by placing at least two implants according to the amount of bone remaining in the lower jaw.

WHAT IS HOOKED PALATE PROSTHESIS?

In traditional partial dentures, more commonly known as hooked dentures, we replace the missing teeth in the mouth with the dentures we prepare and provide retention with metal clasps that extend to the existing teeth. However, today, except for very exceptional cases, we treat partial edentulism with implant treatment or sliding dentures.

IS BREAKING NORMAL IN PALATE PROSTHESIS?

It is extremely normal to experience dents, wounds and stings, especially in the initial stages of a newly prepared palate prosthesis. These problems are completely eliminated after minor adjustments to the prosthesis and adaptation of the tissues to the prosthesis during a few follow-up appointments.
